Enjoyed this article. Totally relate. I use EFT in my own business and it helps me regulate myself as well. Love some of the other ideas you share here. I really appreciate how you shared some other relevant articles. Attribute to your generosity. That speaks volumes to me ❤️
Very heartfelt read. I agree with you wholeheartedly that the feeling to shake things up is part of the process of change. I know big steps forward are coming when I feel that way but I've learned to pace myself and not act drastically. I appreciate the suggestions for self care. Very important during times of transitions. ❤️
Thanks for your insights! That’s such a good skill you’ve learned to pace yourself and not act drastically when it feels like something big is coming! Any tips you have and want to share on how we can do this more?
For me, time has been the best teacher. A lot of experiences blowing up my life that didn't yield the fruit I'd hoped has taught me to slow down and avoid the BIG moves for more gradual change. Moving slowly, gently, and with acceptance brings me to the new places I want to be.
This was such a gentle and honest reflection, thank you for naming it so clearly.
There’s something about this time of year where feeling becomes unavoidable. It’s not just memories or meaning, it’s the body remembering what it didn’t have space for earlier in the year. When the external pace slows, the internal pace suddenly feels louder — and that can be both tender and uncomfortable.
What you describe about “when it feels” matches a pattern I’ve noticed in both myself and others: the nervous system tends to quiet the world first, then eventually invites the felt sense — the subtle, slow rise of present sensations, longings, unresolved edges. It’s not regression, it’s integration.
There’s a particular kind of bravery in allowing the body to feel what it’s been carrying instead of staying busy. It’s quiet work, not flashy, and it’s exactly the kind of presence this season can invite if we let it.
Thank you for capturing that space so beautifully 🤍
Wow thank you so much for your thoughts and reflections! I really loved how you put it - “There’s something about this time of year where feeling becomes unavoidable.” Thanks for being here ❤️
