How to build a foundation of inner safety first, so increased visibility feels like the natural next small step out of your comfort zone...rather than a threat
I identify so much with this part: "you find yourself over-editing or questioning what you’re saying or about to post". This is me. In everything I do. Trying to rid myself of the perfectionism because it hinders me greatly. Slows me down and sometimes paralizes me. I love the tips you've included here. #1 in my go-to. It really does help. Thank you for this thoughtful post. 🙏
I'm slowly getting much better at not over-editing myself, but still wonder if my true intentions can really come through if I don't question every word and every thought I post. But, leaning into feeling more freedom and fun - the emotions and experiences that can also show up when I let go of perfectionism just a bit more.
1) Today I'm starting a challenge to post at least once a day in April on Instagram and TikTok.
2) Additionally, to avoid planning too much and stifling my authenticity, I've started a list of post ideas to choose from if I don't have a topic on any given day. We'll see how it goes!
3) Also! Now that I've started Substack, I plan to cross-promote to The Highly Sensitive Life in my CTAs. This will help me not feel rushed to get everything into my social videos, because the viewer can visit here for all of my thoughts. ; )

Ohhh boy, I feel this too. So glad #1 is helpful and a go-to practice for you - are there other things you like to do that help you?
Ha! Funny you should ask.

Nice, hope it all goes well for you! I'm a big fan of anything that feels spacious and less rushed

Happy to support you and your writing.
Hugs are the best! I try to hug myself almost every day. I didn't know they were called butterfly hugs.
It can be such a kindness to give yourself!
